  1. File your abandonment with the Imperial County Clerk. The notice must be published in our newspaper within 45 days of the filing date. Note: If more than 45 days have passed since filing, you must re-file your notice with the County before submitting it for publication.
  2. Upload a scanned copy of your legal notice.
  3. Submit payment securely through this page.
  4. We’ll publish your notice in the next available edition. After publication, we will mail an affidavit of Publication to the county clerk for certification.
