- File your abandonment with the Imperial County Clerk. The notice must be published in our newspaper within 45 days of the filing date. Note: If more than 45 days have passed since filing, you must re-file your notice with the County before submitting it for publication.

- We’ll publish your notice in the next available edition. After publication, we will mail an affidavit of Publication to the county clerk for certification.
